Cebu Exchange is the Philippines’ largest sustainable office with WELL™
Cebu Exchange hopes to reduce air pollution and stimulate a healthy lifestyle
As of December 2020, Cebu Exchange was pre-certified by the International WELL Building Institute’s reputable WELL Building Standard™, fortifying its esteem as Philippines’ largest sustainable office tower, according to Inquirer.net.
Cebu Exchange winner of the Best Commercial Landscape Architectural Design at the 2019 PropertyGuru Philippines Property Awards, and the Best Office Development in the 2018 PropertyGuru Philippines Property Awards, was also recently Pre-Certified Gold in the US Green Building Council’s Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED®), including the Design Certified 5-Stars in the Philippine Green Building Council’s Building for Ecologically Responsive Design Excellence (BERDE).
Started in October 2014, WELL Building Standard™ is the leading standard for developers and developments seeking to improve human health and wellness globally. WELL™ was founded to merge medical and scientific research and literature on health and environmental factors with premier practices in construction, building design, and management.
Jaime C. González, the vice chairman and president of Arthaland Corporation, said, “for ARTHALAND, promoting personal health and wellness goes hand-in-hand with helping save the environment and advocating for sustainable lifestyles and practices that benefit society and the planet.”

“The WELL™ pre-certification that the Cebu Exchange has achieved, alongside its other renowned accolades garnered from several local and global green building certification standards, make this project your best office investment in 2021, whether it be for your use or as an investment for you to generate attractive high yielding returns,” she added.
The project’s incredibly efficient air filtration system that maintains clean and infectious-free circulation is one of the features that qualified it for the pre-certification. Building areas and lighting were also carefully designed to help improve occupant comfort and satisfaction, influencing overall productivity.
Open spaces like the sky park, terrace garden, and penthouse deck are common with other ARTHALAND developments. Research indicates that access to nature can mitigate stressors and positively affect overall well-being.
Cebu Exchange is deliberately located in the heart of the city’s primary business district, right at the gateway of Cebu IT Park. The development is aimed to decrease air pollution and support an active and healthy lifestyle in the city.
