Top developers secure nominations at the 11th PropertyGuru Philippines Property Awards

Frontrunners include Robinsons Land Corporation and SM Development Corporation (SMDC)

MANILA, Philippines — The shortlisted nominees of the 11th Annual PropertyGuru Philippines Property Awards, presented by Kohler and supported by Boysen Paints and Dongpeng Ceramic, were revealed today ahead of the highly anticipated black-tie gala celebration on Friday, 22 September at Shangri-La The Fort, Manila.

Honouring developers from major metropolises in the archipelago to its most promising provincial markets, this year’s Awards will distinguish luminaries of Philippine real estate across 65 categories.

Leading the shortlist of nominees were Robinsons Land Corporation with 17 nominations and SM Development Corporation (SMDC) with 14 nominations.

Cebu Landmasters, Inc. gained 10 nominations. Aboitiz InfraCapital Economic Estates secured eight nominations while Aboitiz Land, Inc. gained six nominations. Damosa Land, Inc. also garnered seven nominations.

Other major contenders include Alveo Land; Alsons Development and Investment Corporation; Antel Land; AppleOne Group Inc.; Asiana Homes Inc.; AyalaLand Logistics Holdings Corp.; Benedict Ventures Inc.; Eastland Property Ventures Inc.; Federal Land, Inc.; Greentech Land Development Corporation; ISOC Land, Inc.; Ph1 World Developers, Inc.; PHINMA Property Holdings Corporation; PHirst Park Homes Inc.; Priland Development Corporation; Primary Homes, Inc.; Primeworld Land Holdings Inc.; Pueblo de Oro Development Corporation; Shang Properties, Inc.; Sunshine Fort North Bonifacio Realty Development Corporation; and Torre Lorenzo Development Corporation.

Jose R. Soberano III, chairman, president, and CEO of Cebu Landmasters, Inc. (CLI), will accept the Philippines Real Estate Personality of the Year award from the editorial team of Property Report by PropertyGuru, the official magazine of the Awards.

The all-new Rising Star award will be presented for the first time ever on gala night. The title, presented by Bridges, a partner of the Awards, will honour Lucio Tan III, president of the LT Group, Inc., and Kyle Tan, president and chief executive officer of Eton Properties Philippines, Inc.

The shortlist of nominees was decided by an independent panel of judges consisting of Cyndy Tan Jarabata, chairperson of the Awards in the Philippines and president of TAJARA Leisure & Hospitality Group Inc.; Carlo Cordaro, president and CEO, Atelier A; Jaime A. Cura, PhD, vice-chairman, The RGV Group of Companies; Jean Jacquelyn Nathania A. de Castro, CEO, ESCA Incorporated; Kathleen P.  Obcemea, principal interior designer, KPO Beyond Designs Co.; Luis Enrique T. Mangosing, CEO, Metro Development Managers, Inc. Diaz Murillo Dalupan and Company – HLB Philippines upheld the fairness, transparency, and credibility of the selection process under the supervision of Ofelia S. Barroga, Lloyd T. Tan, Margaux Zarah Casihan, and Remedios Ducay.

Main country winners of the PropertyGuru Philippines Property Awards will advance to the 18th PropertyGuru Asia Property Awards Grand Final on Friday, 8 December in Bangkok, Thailand where they will compete for regional honours against their peers from other nations.

Established in 2005, the PropertyGuru Asia Property Awards continue to reward high-calibre work within the industry, encompassing property development, construction, architecture, interior design, and sustainable building practices. The series initially covered Southeast Asia and has expanded over the years to include the region’s dynamic property markets, including Australia, China, India, and Greater Niseko in Japan.
