The finest developments, designs in the Chinese territories honoured at the 2020 PropertyGuru Asia Property Awards (Mainland China, Hong Kong, Macau)

An innovative celebration of excellent developers, design practices, and real estate brands in one of the world’s largest property markets

• Thirty-four developments in mainland China, including projects by top architecture and design firms, clinch titles presented for the first time such as Best Housing Development (China) and Best Condo Development (China) as well as the Anjuke Home Furnishing & Decoration Awards
• Twenty-four companies, including home furnishing and decoration brands, receive trophies and citations across 32 mainland China categories
• Henderson Land Group dominates Hong Kong and Macau categories, with wins for Aquila · Square Mile, The Consonance, and 2 Murray Road projects

BANGKOK, Thailand — 2 December 2020

Winners and Highly Commended awardees of the 2020 edition of the PropertyGuru Asia Property Awards (Mainland China, Hong Kong, Macau), presented in association with Anjuke, part of leading Chinese online marketplace 58.com, were named during a virtual gala event and awards ceremony broadcast on Wednesday, 2 December via AsiaPropertyAwards.com and partner channels YouTube, Facebook and LinkedIn, as well as Anjuke.com in China.

Financial Street (Beijing) Real Estate Co., Ltd won the coveted award of Best Developer (Mainland China), while Shimao Group Suhu Branch gained the title of Best Mixed Use Developer (Mainland China). The titles of Best Luxury Lifestyle Developer (Mainland China) and Best Lifestyle Developer (Mainland China) were meanwhile awarded to Shanghai Ruihong Xincheng Co., Ltd and Yango Group Hunan Branch Co., Ltd, respectively.

Henderson Land Group dominated this year’s Hong Kong and Macau categories. Aquila · Square Mile won for Henderson Land Group the title of Best Mixed Use Development while The Consonance won for the company the title of Best Condo Development (Hong Kong). The company’s 2 Murray Road project, designed by Zaha Hadid Architects, won Best Office Architectural Design and Best Office Interior Design.

Homegrown architecture and design practices accumulated multiple wins for projects across the mainland. HZS Design (Shanghai), Ltd. scored five titles, including Best Ultra Luxury Condo Architectural Design (Mainland China) and Best Luxury Condo Architectural Design (Mainland China), while Lead8 claimed four titles, including Best Mixed Use Interior Design (Mainland China) for Beijing Daxing International Airport (Commercial Landside Terminal). ShenZhen Trinity Interior Design won two titles, namely Best Serviced Apartment Interior Design (Mainland China) and Best Clubhouse Interior Design (Mainland China).

Bluetown Architects won Best Boutique Housing Architectural Design (Mainland China) for its work on Peach Blossom Future Villa (Phase 2) while MOD Architectural Design (Shanghai) Co., Ltd. was awarded Best Educational Architectural Design (Mainland China) for Tiantai Laixi Sales House.

A total of 24 mainland Chinese companies, representing 34 projects, received trophies and citations across 32 categories this year. The prestigious real estate awards programme has been expanded this year to include best-of China accolades. Huafa Industrial Share Co., Ltd. Zhuhai, last year’s winner of the Best Developer (Greater Bay Area) title, won the top accolade of Best Housing Development (China) for its Huafa Central Park project. Another top accolade, Best Condo Development (China), went to Shanghai Panlong Tiandi by Shanghai Panlong Tiandi Co., Ltd.

Other titles presented for the first time for mainland China include the Anjuke Home Furnishing & Decoration Awards. These consist of the Best Partner Award for Real Estate Enterprises and Best Professional Home Brand Award, which were presented to Oceano and Daikin, respectively.

Seven projects, represented by three developers, vied for a total of six competitive categories in the Hong Kong and Macau awards. Oootopia Tai Kok Tsui by Everlux Limited & Oootopia Hospitality Management Limited was the clear winner for Best Co-Living Space, a new category for the special administrative regions.

The title of Best Asset Enhancement Initiative was also presented for the first time: recognising excellence in renovation across mainland China, Hong Kong, and Macau. The award was presented to Grand Gateway 66 Renovation, a project by Shanghai Kong Hui Property Development Co., Ltd. in mainland China, and O’South Coast (Monterey Place, Savannah Place, Capri Place), a project by Phoenix Property Investors in Hong Kong.
