The 8th PropertyGuru Vietnam Property Awards celebrates the best of the real estate industry in the country
The event was held at the Gem Centre in Ho Chi Minh City (HCMC) on 21 October 2022
The PropertyGuru Vietnam Property Awards celebrated its eighth year at the Gem Centre in Ho Chi Minh City (HCMC) on 21 October 2022. More than 500 senior industry guests were in attendance at the black-tie event.
It was the third event of the PropertyGuru Asia Property Awards series.
Dinner started with baked scallops with truffle sauce. This was followed by snow crab soup and stewed beef foie gras. The main course was grilled chicken with Shio Koji sauce, and for dessert: chocolate passion fruit cake.
More than 60 categories were presented during the gala, including the never-before-presented Developer, Development, and Design titles.
Phu My Hung Development Corporation won the sought-after title of Best Developer. The company also won Special Recognition in Sustainable Design and Construction, Special Recognition for CSR, and Special Recognition for Building Communities, plus one Highly Commended citation for its project, Hong Hac City.
Keppel Land emerged as the most awarded company of the night with 11 competitive wins, including Best Mixed Use Developer and Best Sustainable Developer. The Infiniti bested many other winners in the residential categories for the prestigious title of Best Condo Development (Vietnam), one of four wins for the Keppel Land project. Two of Keppel Land’s ventures with Phu Long Real Estate Corporation, Celesta Avenue and Celesta Heights, were named Best Housing Development (HCMC) and Best Condo Architectural Design, respectively.
Another multi-awarded company, Phat Dat Real Estate Development Corporation, ended the night with seven wins, including Best Boutique Developer. Its project Cadia Quy Nhon accumulated three wins.
Khang Dien House Trading and Investment JSC earned five wins, including two for The Privia.
Meanwhile, SonKim Land Corporation gained four wins, including Best Luxury Developer, Best High End Condo Development (HCMC) , and Best High End Condo Interior Design awards for The 9 Stellars.
Joseph Low, the president of Keppel Land Vietnam, accepted the Vietnam Real Estate Personality of the Year award. Jeremy Williams, the managing director for marketplaces at PropertyGuru Group, presented the award, saying that Joseph, “has been guiding one of Vietnam’s top development companies towards reaching its full potential.”
He added that the awardee, for almost a decade, “has provided impetus to Keppel Land’s flagship projects throughout Vietnam: building on the company’s legacy as a pioneer of grade-A offices in the country and redefining its urban skylines. From Celesta City in HCMC to the company’s ever-expanding presence in Hanoi, our awardee’s achievements grow ubiquitous by the year.”
The awards ceremony ended with the awardees on the stage for the annual group photo. Confetti spilled onto the stage, marking the end of the 8th PropertyGuru Vietnam Property Awards.
The major winners of the 8th PropertyGuru Vietnam Property Awards will compete for the “Best in Asia” regional awards at the PropertyGuru Asia Property Awards Grand Final in Bangkok on 9 December 2022.
