Pantjoran PIK
Jointly developed by Agung Sedayu Group and Salim Group, Pantjoran PIK is a retail project that celebrates the meeting of Indonesian and Chinese cultures. Curated and managed by Amantara, a subsidiary of Agung Sedayu Group, Pantjoran PIK houses small-medium enterprises (SMEs), many with diverse culinary offerings, and showcases rich architecture, including heritage-inspired landmarks.
Since opening in November 2020, this destination has become a favourite of travelers, thanks to attractions such as paifang, called Gerbang Kemakmuran; Red Pagoda; and Chinese Zodiac Garden, plus colourful murals and other photogenic features. The statues here, such as the ones of Guan Yin, Guan Gong, Laughing Buddha and Cai Shen Ye, serve as pilgrimage sites and places of worship.
Architecturally, Pantjoran PIK is inspired from buildings found in Guangdong and Fujian. These Chinese provinces are said to be the origins for many settlers in Batavia or today’s Old Town Jakarta, especially Jembatan Lima, Pancoran, Glodok, and surrounding neighborhoods.
Open weekdays from 10am to 11pm and weekends from 7am to 11pm, Pantjoran PIK has many legendary restaurants for consumers of all ages, including Es Kopi Tak Kie, Wong Fu Kie, May Star, Hawaii, Zanggrandi Ice Cream, Pin’s Grocery, Maison Weiner Cake Shop, Din Tai Fung, Ponggol Nasi Lemak, Beach Road Scissors Cut Curry Rice, Kam’s Roast, Xiao La Guo, and Bubur Kam Seng.
Facilities at Pantjoran PIK include a prayer room, 24-hour security system, free WiFi, drop-off points and parking areas, ATMs, and vending machines. The retail compound is a pet-friendly destination.
