Modern and heritage projects excel at the 11th PropertyGuru Asia Property Awards (Mainland China, Hong Kong, Macau)
Developers and design practices triumph across a spectrum of luxurious new builds, restoration projects, and asset enhancement initiatives
BANGKOK, Thailand — The winners of the 2024 PropertyGuru Asia Property Awards (Mainland China, Hong Kong, Macau) were honoured today during an exclusive luncheon and ceremony held on Friday, 13 December 2024, at The Athenee Hotel, a Luxury Collection Hotel, Bangkok.
The 11th edition of the awards celebrated an impressive range of projects, including mixed-use developments, luxury residences, heritage restorations, and asset enhancement initiatives. The accolades recognised outstanding contributions from property developers and design practices alike.
Zhuhai Huafa Properties Co., Ltd. was named Best Developer (Mainland China). The company received additional recognitions for the projects Shenzhen Huafa Snow World and Xi’an Huafa Lijun ‧ Center Glorious.
A diverse group of design practices was also celebrated for their outstanding work across the mainland. They include Lead8, which gained multiple wins for its work on MixC Changchun and K11 Shanghai, Huaihai Middle Road. Meanwhile, GAD Architectural Design (Shanghai) Co., Ltd. was recognised for both Juli Road No. 1 and Lucky No. 16 while HWCD Design took home awards for Casa Rivera and Century of Cultural Collection. Miaojue Design earned multiple awards for Breathing Aesthetic Resort Community in Beijing and The Hidden Capital City of Taoyuan.
Other triumphant design firms included CAN Design, winning for New Hong Cheng Life Experience Hall; Design Power House (DPH) for Star Gourmet – Shanghai Hongkou Plaza; Shanghai Xin Zhuo Real Estate Co., Ltd. & ECE for PRISMA Xinjia; Jiang & Associates Creative Design for ALIBABA BEIJING CHAOYANG SCIENCE & TECHNOLOGY PARK; and Sybarite for SKP Chengdu.
Hongkong Land emerged as a multi-awarded developer, receiving accolades for JLC and West Bund Central. Other Mainland China highlights included Ji anfa Fangdichan Jituan winning for Jianfa Zichen and Shanghai Yuefeng Real Estate Development Co., Ltd. (CapitaLand) scoring a title for Shanghai Hongkou Plaza.

New World Development Company Limited was awarded Best Developer (Hong Kong and Macau), along with a distinction for the project 83 King Lam Street. The company also received awards for The Pavilia Forest, a joint venture with Far East Consortium International Limited
Lofter Group Limited was named Best Boutique Developer (Hong Kong and Macau) and won additional awards for 1 Ki Lung Street and 2C Boundary Street.
S E A Holdings Limited claimed the inaugural Sustainable Design Award, plus an honour for THE CENDAS. China Resources Land (Overseas) Limited and Poly Property (Hong Kong) Co., Limited were also notable winners, honoured for their collaborative work on PANO HARBOUR.
The awards elevated achievements in heritage restoration across the Chinese SAR. New Orient Group was recognised for its restoration of San Tung Fong Commerical Inn North Wing (Former Lok Kok Restaurant Building) while Lek Hang Group was celebrated for its restoration of Hotel Central Macau.
