Thien Duong is a Canadian Vietnamese architect who carries the distinction of being a Chartered Architect with the Royal Institute of British Architects as well as Masterplanner. With an extensive background of over 25 years, he has contributed to significant architectural projects across various continents including Europe, North America, Africa, and Oceania. As a committed member of the Vietnam Green Building Council’s board of directors since its establishment, Thien has played a key role in shaping sustainable architecture practices. He is the Studio Leader of the award-winning Australian firm, GroupGSA in Vietnam, leveraging his local insight and international experience in sustainability to set new benchmarks in design and technology.

Hang will service the real estate property requirements of the many multi-national corporations with a presence in Vietnam. In the last 23 years Hang has been in various leadership positions in real estate firms. Hang spent the last two years in Vin group, one of Vietnam’s leading real estate developers where she was Chairwoman of Vincom Office and Deputy Managing Director of Vincom Retails directly responsible for driving the sales revenue of the companies. Hang began her real estate career in Richard Ellis, handling research, consultancy and brokerage and later took on the Managing
Directorship at Cushman & Wakefield’s Vietnam operations. As a member of management team Hang had joined C&W from day one and built the company to become one of the leading real estate services provider in Vietnam.

Ed Haysom LFRAIA, AIA, HonFNZIA has had an international architectural career winning numerous awards for his work. He is now Design Director of Transform Architecture, a multi-award winning international architectural practice headquartered in Ho Chi Minh City with a studio in Brisbane.
He was formally the National President of the Australian Institute of Architects
Ed has advised the Vietnam Government on various urban renewal projects. In 2017 he was the subject of a Vietnamese television documentary. In 2019 he lead the team designing a new technology university for the city bridging the gap between Australia and Vietnam.
David McDonald

David commenced his career with WT Partnership’s Sydney office in 2004 whilst completing his Bachelor of Construction at the University of Technology. He commenced a full-time employment with WT Partnership after he was graduated. David moved to Vietnam in April 2011 where he was predominantly involved in producing masterplan cost management services for major residential and commercial projects. He was then seconded to the Hong Kong office in October 2011 for a major role in the integrated casino and resort mega-project ‘Studio City’ in Macau. On August 2012, he returned to Vietnam and took up the position of General Director and controls operations throughout the country. His experience is spread across different types of projects and his local knowledge has helped successful procurement of major projects such as the 11th tallest building in the world (Landmark 81). David is now continuing the progress of WTP as the forefront of cost management.

Mauro Gasparotti
Mauro directs all Savills Hotels SE Asian operations. Alongside business development, his extensive industry expertise guides hotel investment and consultancy, feasibility studies, cash flow alongside market analyses, project consultancy and operator selection. Mauro is also highly competent with asset and development site valuation modelling.
Besides managing the development of Savills Hotels team, Mauro is an active member of the industry and founded WeHub. The community platform hosts signature hospitality events like Meet The Experts, HoSkar Night and See It First Masterclass. Mauro uses these platforms to share his expertise and support other industry professionals. Mauro is also known as a judge for the PropertyGuru Asia Property Awards, the region’s most respected real estate award that celebrates the achievers in the world’s most dynamic markets.
Before revitalizing Savills APAC Hotels, Mauro was co-founder and Executive Director of Alternaty Real Estate which, within 5-years became Indochina’s leading hospitality consultancy. He has also headed up CBRE Vietnam Hotel Services after being their Senior Valuation and Advisory Manager. Prior to joining CBRE, Mauro worked with Ernst & Young.

Paul D. Volodarsky
Paul is the regional head of the real estate practice group and the regional head of the hospitality sector. His practice focuses on corporate structuring for real estate investment, hotel management agreement negotiation and drafting, industrial and retail property acquisitions, and construction contracts.
He has advised individual buyers, developers, and investment groups on real estate investment throughout Southeast Asia with a focus on the industrial and hospitality sectors. While advising clients, his focus is to understand their investment goals and to identify creative solutions to achieve the desired outcome.
Paul is based in Bangkok with frequent travel to Ho Chi Minh City.

Jean-Francois Chevance is the Director of Hospitality & Design for Archetype Group. He has worked on numerous projects across Asia since joining Archetype in 2003. With more than 26 years of design experience, including 25 years in South East Asia, Jean-François has earned extensive recognition as an architect, project director and design director from his work on a wide range of projects, from office and residential buildings to large-scale master plans, from hotels and resorts to high-rise buildings and airport facilities.

As the Executive Director, Legal Transaction for SC Capital Partners Group, Chau leads all legal transactions for SC Capital Pan Asia including Australia and Vietnam.
Chau is highly experienced in real estate transactions, mergers and acquisitions, international corporate/commercial law, and has been living and working in Vietnam for 14 years. She launched the first annual AusCham - Vietnam Real Estate Symposium in 2012, now on its 8th year.
She is a Foundation Member of Australian Chamber of Commerce Asean (AustCham ASEAN), was its Vice Chair in 2019, and have been serving as Chair in 2020 until 2021.
She also sits on the Australia Vietnam Leadership Dialogue Advisory Board, the Corporate Advisory Board for UNICEF Vietnam, the Asean-Australia Education Dialogue Advisory Committee.
Chau is Australian raised, bread-fed educated lawyer, with a Bachelor of Arts/Bachelor of Laws (Honors) and Master of International Law (Honors) from University of Sydney.

Alex started in the commercial and corporate real estate industry in 2003, beginning on the south coast of the UK and working in Vietnam since 2011. Throughout his career, Alex has worked with investors and occupiers across the world, ranging from private individual investors to pension funds, start-ups and multibillion-dollar international companies. He has hundreds of closed transactions under his belt and millions of square meters of space transacted. Having worked for some of the largest real estate consultancies in the world, Alex established a subsidiary office for Knight Frank in Vietnam in 2021 and is responsible for the the day-to-day operation as well as being on the front line of client services working directly on transactions and consulting.

Mr. Nguyen has over 25 years of international executive accounting, finance and investments experience having worked in Canada, the United States and Vietnam, in both publicly listed and private companies.
Mr. Nguyen graduated with an Honors Bachelor of Arts Degree, Co-operative Program, Chartered Accountancy Studies in 1995 in University of Waterloo, Canada. Mr. Nguyen has both Canadian CPA and Vietnam CPA professional designations.
Mr. Nguyen started his career working for Big 4 accounting firms for 12 years in Canada, USA and Vietnam. Mr. Nguyen then held successive senior finance executive roles at a large publicly listed real estate company in Canada, a high-tech health care company in Canada, after which he returned to Vietnam in 2012 to join one of the biggest investment firms in the country as a Fund CFO.
Prior to joining Talentnet, Mr. Nguyen was a Partner and Head of Business Development for an international accounting firm and before that, Mr. Nguyen was the Managing Director and Country Head at a leading global business process outsourcing firm. Mr. Nguyen was responsible for setting the strategic direction of the Vietnamese operations (including offices in Ho Chi Minh City and Hanoi).
