Real estate luminaries score multiple nominations in 2020 PropertyGuru Cambodia Property Awards

Design-savvy Khmer developers and projects named today in official shortlist of nominees

PHNOM PENH, Cambodia — 10 August 2020

PropertyGuru Asia Property Awards, the most exclusive and prestigious real estate awards programme in the region, revealed today the shortlist of nominees for its latest Cambodian edition.

Around a dozen of Cambodia’s most illustrious real estate companies are moving on to the next stage of the competition as official nominees for the 5th Annual PropertyGuru Cambodia Property Awards set for Friday, 4 September 2020 at the Sofitel Phnom Penh Phokeethra in Phnom Penh.

This year, four-time Best Developer award winner Peng Huoth Group joins such heavyweights in Khmer property development as Meridian International Holding (Cambodia) Ltd.; Morganford Investment (Cambodia) Co., Ltd.; and Urban Hub (Cambodia) Co., Ltd. for a chance at taking home trophies and Highly Commended citations across more than 30 categories, including new outstanding Developer titles.

Design-savvy projects from Phnom Penh to Siem Reap secured multiple nominations this year, with the mixed-use Flatiron development by Meridian International Holding (Cambodia) Ltd. garnering eight nominations, the most of any project. Other projects expected to take multiple wins at the awards include the Morgan EnMaison; Morgan Tower; Urban Village and Factory Phnom Penh; Star Platinum Eco Collection Phase I; Rose Apple Square; Bakong Village; TK Central; and Le Condé BKK1.

Hok Kang, founder of Urbanland Investment Co., Ltd and Hok Kang Architects, is expected to take the stage as recipient of this year’s Cambodia Real Estate Personality of the Year title.
