At a recent private event, the 11th Annual PropertyGuru Asia Awards Malaysia were introduced. The event was hosted by iProperty.com.my and attended by prominent people in the industry. An extravagant gala dinner and awards ceremony honouring Malaysia’s outstanding real estate development accomplishments will be held on Friday, October 25th, 2024.
Sustainability: The Basics
There are five categories for this year’s awards, up from four for previous years that concentrated on ESG principles (environmental, social, and governance). These categories are designed to recognise and reward developers who are at the forefront of adopting eco-friendly methods. This is in line with Malaysia’s declared goal of sustainable development and shows how important it is to take environmental factors into account when buying a home. The Awards greatly contribute to the development of environmentally friendly real estate in Malaysia by rewarding developers that value energy efficiency, sustainable design, and social effect.
