Full winners list: 2018 PropertyGuru Vietnam Property Awards

It was a huge night for Vietnam’s real estate sector as the Winners and Highly Commended companies were announced Friday night (22 June) at the 4th annual PropertyGuru Vietnam Property Awards 2018, presented by Kohler and co-organised by Oriental Media.

Winning its back-to-back Best Developer title is CapitaLand Vietnam, taking home a total of 14 trophies including an array of special awards, plus three commendations.

“It was unexpected and truly a surprise to win this title for a second year. This is for all the hardworking men and women at CapitaLand. It just motivates us to try to win more awards every year,” said CEO Chen Lian Pang backstage.

Other big winners are SonKim Land Corporation as Best Boutique Developer, and multiple awardees Phu Long Developer and Alpha King.

KIEN A Corporation, whose founding chairman Dr Huynh Ba Lan was chosen as the recipient of the 2018 Vietnam Real Estate Personality of the Year, received the special award from PropertyGuru Group’s chief marketing officer Bjorn Sprengers. Dr. Huynh was accompanied by his daughter.

This year also included a presentation of the Special Recognition for Building Communities, for Design and Construction, and for Customer Care, as well as the CARE Special Recognition for Positive Construction Practices for TNR Holdings Vietnam Real Estate, the last award presented by the event’s official charity partner.

More than 500 guests and press witnessed the competition’s biggest ceremony yet at the InterContinental Saigon Hotel in Ho Chi Minh City, with 43 categories presented to more than 25 companies.
