71 winners triumph at hybrid gala celebration of 7th PropertyGuru Vietnam Property Awards

Awardees clinch honours across 56 categories during innovative virtual gala broadcast and exclusive in-person celebration

• Keppel Land claims five gold statuettes, including Best Developer, at exclusive Park Hyatt Saigon ceremony, celebrated alongside an innovative virtual gala broadcast presentation
• New titles of Best Luxury Developer and Special Recognition for Landmark Development awarded to SonKim Land Corporation and Masterise Homes

HO CHI MINH CITY, Vietnam — 26 November 2021

Great developers and projects were announced today at the 7th Annual PropertyGuru Vietnam Property Awards programme, presented by Kohler and supported by Häfele, Dulux Professional by AkzoNobel Paints Vietnam, and Saint-Gobain Vietnam.

Around 71 winners across 56 categories were revealed in the hybrid gala celebration at the Park Hyatt Saigon in Ho Chi Minh City. The momentous occasion included a live screening of the programme’s virtual red carpet and awards presentation that premiered on AsiaPropertyAwards.com/tv-podcast and multiple digital platforms.

Keppel Land clinched the top honour of Best Developer, plus three Special Recognition accolades. With Phu Long Real Estate Corporation, it shared the award of Best Mid End Condo Development (HCMC) for their Celesta Rise project.

The never-before-presented award of Best Luxury Developer was presented to SonKim Land Corporation. The Special Recognition for Landmark Development, another title presented for the first time this year, went to Grand Marina, Saigon by Masterise Homes.

Masterise Homes garnered the coveted Best Low Rise Condo Development (Vietnam) award for The Grand Hanoi. Another best-of-the-country accolade, Best Housing Development (Vietnam), was awarded to The Glen by Gamuda Land (HCMC) JSC., winner of the Best Lifestyle Developer title. Best High Rise Condo Development (Vietnam) was awarded to Define by CapitaLand – Thien Duc Co. Ltd.

Other winners of the Developer awards were CapitaLand Development (Vietnam); Danh Khoi Group Joint Stock Company; Hung Thinh Land Joint Stock Company; and National Housing Organization, JSC.

BIM Land (a member of BIM Group) won Best Condo Architectural Design for Icon 40; Best Hospitality Green Development for InterContinental Halong Bay Resort & Residences; and Best Resort Interior Design for Park Hyatt Phu Quoc Residences.

Masterise Homes won Best Mixed Use Architectural Design for Masteri Waterfront and Best High End Condo Development (Hanoi) for Masteri West Heights. BCG Land scored winning titles for two projects as well: Casa Marina Premium with Best Resort Architectural Design and King Crown Infinity with Best High End Condo Development (HCMC).  Similarly, Danh Khoi Holdings Investment Joint Stock Company garnered titles for Takashi Ocean Suite Ky Co, which won Best Residential Development (Quy Nhơn), and The Aston Luxury Residence, which won Best Coastal Condo Architectural Design.

Vinhomes Joint Stock Company won both Best Smart Building Development and Best Commercial Green Development for TechnoPark Tower, as well as Best Wellness Lifestyle Development for Vinhomes Ocean Park.

Phu My Hung Development Corporation won Best High End Condo Landscape Architectural Design for The Peak and the Highly Commended award for Best Mixed Use Architectural Design for Phu My Hung Midtown.

The title of Vietnam Real Estate Personality of the Year, the only award not decided by the panel of judges, was presented to Le Van Kiem, founder and chairperson of KN Group. His pioneering work with thriving golf communities, as well as generous philanthropic activities during the pandemic, among other achievements, won over editors of PropertyGuru Property Report Magazine, who choose the recipient of the award every year.

Van Kiem said: “Our efforts in recent years have now seen validation from an extremely respected name in selecting the standout faces within the Asian real estate scene. This has been an honour and at the same time a valuable assessment that reminds us of the continued efforts we must put in order to live up to our status as one of the pioneers of the Vietnamese real estate business since the 1990s. The hybrid gala celebration was safely held with luminaries in Vietnam real estate in attendance, including renowned developers as well as the programme’s organisers, judges, sponsors and partners. The award-winning developers accepted their golden statuettes and certificates in ceremonies aligned with health and safety protocols.

The judging panel also includes a team of specialists in the Hanoi market: Andras Germ, General Manager, Astra; Dang Van Quang, Director of Strategy Consulting Services, Navigat; Nguyen Phuong Dung, Legal Advisor – DFDL Vietnam Law Company Limited; and Tran Quynh Trang, owner of property management firm Sapphire Indochina.
